Meet Mika!
Mika is one of our Sacred Garden Girls!
She has been in our program since 2021! She is an overcomer and has a powerful story, and true testimony about never giving up!
When she first joined us she was a young mom with one son, Kyro. They had been through so much before she found us, including homelessness! When Mika came into our foundation she was ready to do the work to begin to find out who she was. Soon she began to believe that her first identity is LOVED!
These past three years there have been many challenges she has overcome, and now two years later Mika is stronger, and wiser.
She is also a mom of three incredible boys! She went from evictions to single mother housing because she never gave up!
There were days she truly didn’t know how she was going to get through it, but she did!
It wasn’t always easy! There were tears and uncertain moments, but never any doubt that God would continue to hold her and her kids too.
The Sacred Garden Foundation, not only walks with young women just like Mika as they navigate life, but it also provides food, utilities and basic necessities as well as rent assistance.
